A perfectly lovely bed and breakfast. The room was comfortable and spotless, with every possible amenity. Laura couldn't have been more welcoming, and her breakfasts are first-rate! Having only one room for guests assures quiet and privacy. And while the cottage is near the high street, traffic noise is negligible. The train station is a ten-minute walk away, and the cottage is close to several cafes and restaurants. I would give this five stars for sure. « Hide

We have stayed here many times and have not failed to be delighted. The room is quaint yet roomy and the bed very comfortable. There is a little fridge, oh and fudge, together with all the comforts of home. The breakfast is wonderful - from fresh fruit to the fullest 'English' you can ever imagine. The position in the centre of Petersfield is perfect for all the lovely pubs and restaurants within walking distance. A wonderful 5 star experience in every way. « Hide

We stay with Laura every time we visit Petersfield. She has only one room and it is the most spacious, quiet, private, and centrally located you will find in town. What more can you ask for? Laura's hospitality is helpful without being overbearing, and her attention to making breakfast the most private, peaceful, and inviting gourmet experience is of the highest quality (down to allowing you to wake slowly to lovely classical music, fresh flowers in the window, and the smell of freshly brewed coffee). She never rushes you and you are made to feel like one of the family. You end up leave walking on a cloud, totally refreshed and ready to take on the world! « Hide

One of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in! All the things you want from a B&B - nice setting, comfortable bed, beautiful room, friendly host, and a good breakfast - were there in abundance. Just wish we could have stayed longer but definitely hope to return at some point. Would highly recommend. « Hide

This was one of the best B&Bs I have visited. Laura gave us a very warm welcome. The cottage is in the heart of town, yet very quiet. The room was excellently appointed and very comfortable. All the facilities were top quality. We chose a full English breakfast which was simply the best I have ever had. The table was laid out for royalty, and the produce seemed to be either home made, or at least local origin (down to the bread and the honey). As for value, we felt guilty paying so little. I would absolutely recommend this B&B to anyone, and am quite disappointed that there isn'ta Border Cottage in every town. « Hide
